Zidane is in love with Dagger. Because of this, his flirty ways are now used as a joke. It’s part of his personality, but now he doesn’t use it seriously. He doesn’t try to pick up women with it anymore; he uses it for fun because it’s in his personality.
Due to his job in Tantalus, Zidane was trained to be skillful in swordplay with both hands. This allowed him to use different characterizations with his characters, and it also allowed him to use two daggers at once. Because of his training, Zidane is now ambidextrous. But he tends to lean toward his right hand; it’s the more dominant hand.
Zidane loves listening to the rain. It relaxes him.
Zidane hates bananas. As a child, other kids would wave bananas in front of his face because of his tail. They would judge him before they got to know him. Because of this, he hate bananas.
The fur that appears on Zidane’s body when he transforms during Trance is due to his genome decent.
In Lindblum the drinking age is 16. Being that Zidane is 16 he sometimes goes to the pub with the gang to grab a few drinks. He isn’t much of a drinker, but if he does he will drink a beer or ale of some sort.
Zidane helps people without reason because that’s what saved his life. Baku took Zidane in without any thought to himself or receiving anything in return. Without Baku, Zidane would have most likely died. Because of this reason, Zidane will go out of his way to help anyone without reason.
Zidane doesn’t hate Kuja. As stated, Zidane believes that if he were in Kuja’s shoes he probably would’ve done the same thing. He believes Kuja was striving to find a reason for his existance; that’s what everyone wants in this world. They want to find their place in this world. Yes, he believes Kuja went about it in the wrong way, but he doesn’t believe he is evil. Also, he has an understanding with Kuja, but that’s about it. He doesn’t feel any brotherly love for him; at least not at this moment.
